The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab will feature two cameras, apparently, one for taking pictures and one for video conferencing. As a reminder, this Apple iPad competitor uses a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.2 OS, a 4,000mAh battery and a 7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. German DSL provider 1&1 today shipped the Android-powered 1&1 SmartPad tablet. The gadget comes equipped with a 7-inch LCD WVGA touchscreen display, an ARM 11 500MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a 1GB ROM and Wi-Fi N connectivity. There is also a USB WWAN dongle that can be used to stand in as a wireless bridge to 2G or 3G connections.
