Acer has finally rolled out five new LCD monitors from the G5 series this week. Available in 19-inch, 20-inch, 22-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch models, these LCD monitors feature a 80,000:1 contrast ratio, a low response time, and an HDMI. The 24-inch model has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, while the mid-size 22-inch and 23-inch monitors boast 1600 x 900 pixels resolution. Acer has come out with another eco-friendly LCD monitor in the form of the S273HL. This new 27-inch WLED-backlight monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 68% compared to the traditional CFFL displays. Not only that, it also provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response time and has two HDMI connectors. LG is preparing to unleash a new series of Full HD monitors ‘E60? for the European market. Coming in both 22-inch and 23-inch models, these LED-backlight monitors provide 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and come with D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors. Both of these monitors will become available in Europe from September for 229 Euro / $279 (22-inch) and 249 Euro / $304 (23-inch), respectively. [Softpedia]
