Commodore USA C64x EXTREME With i7 Quad Core CPU
Commodore USA has announced the availability of the new Commodore 64 Extreme (model: C64x-EX). This old-fashioned computer comes jam packed with a 2.2GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU (i7-2720QM) that can be turbo boosted up to 3.3GHz thanks to the Intel Turbo Boost technology. The Commodore USA C64x EXTREME also features a 2TB hard disk drive, an 8GB of RAM, two USB 3.0 ports, five USB 2.0 ports, a high-end mechanical keyboard and a slot loading DVD burner. Other specs include an e-SATA port, SPDIF, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, DVI and VGA display connections. Commodore USA will launch the C64x EXTREME on December 15th, 2011 for $1,499. [Press Release]
