Pioneer BDR-S07J 12x Internal Blu-ray Writer
Pioneer is about to release their newest 12x internal Blu-ray writer in Japan. Codenamed BDR-S07J, the drive features a 4MB of buffer memory, a SATA connection interface and promises to provide write speeds of 12x for BD-R, 12x for BD-R DL, 2x for BD-RE (DL) and 16x for DVD-R/+R. The BDR-S07J will start shipping in Japan from mid-February for around 25,000 Yen (about $328). [Pioneer]
Pioneer BDR-PR1 Internal Blu-ray Writer
Pioneer has showed off their newest internal Blu-ray writer, the BDR-PR1. Designed for businesses, libraries and museums, this professional-grade Blu-ray writer features a 4MB of buffer memory, a SATA 3.0 Gbps connection interface and provides write speeds of 6x for BD-R, 6x for BD-R DL, 6x for BD-R LTH, 2x for BD-RE and 2x for BD-RE DL.
