Verbatim today released its new USB 3.0/USB 2.0 Universal Card Readers and Pocket Card Reader. The USB 3.0 Universal Card Reader provides transfer speeds of up to 5GB/second and has a silver finish, while the USB 2.0 Universal Card Reader offers transfer speeds of up to 480MB/second and comes in a classic piano black finish. Both models are compatible with CompactFlash Type I & Type II, Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC), miniSD, microSD, Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, Memory Stick Micro (M2), MultiMedia Card (MMC) and xD-Picture Card (xD).
