Available in a 4GB or a 6TB of storage space, the WD My Book Thunderbolt DUO provides a pair of 3.5-inch hard drives in a RAID O stripped array, providing transfer speeds of up to 2Gbps. Western Digital has launched the My Passport Studio, which is designed for use with Mac computers and Apple Time Machine software. This external HDD features an all-metal design, which makes it more durable. The storage device offers several connectivity options such as a couple of FireWire 800 ports and a USB 2.0 interface. Other features include a password protection software and a hardware encryption.
